As some of you know, I wrote a children’s book.

As some of you know, I wrote a children’s book. What you don’t know is that now that I’m close to releasing the book, I am an absolute wreck.⁣

This book is almost four years in the making. That is a testament to how awful of an over-thinker I can be and how debilitating perfectionism is.
⁣
You see, for four years, I’ve been obsessing over this book and this character. What she would look like, what she would wear and what she would be sharing with readers. ⁣

If we’re friends on facebook, then you’ve probably already seen her face on the cover of the book. But for everyone else, I wanted to formally introduce you to Zuri Rose, the character of my new children book entitled, The Wonderful World of Zuri Rose: Flowers from A to Z.⁣

Zuri Rose is a curious, imaginative, and rambunctious 8 year old girl from Brooklyn. From her oversized hair bows to her love of fashion, she loves all things pink, sparkly, and of course floral. Surrounded by flowers in her mum’s flower shop, Zuri invites you on a journey as she shares her love of flowers from A to Z.⁣
